Cyanoxide's random artwork
Rather than going to the gym or anything like that my new years resolution this year is to make more arty things! I haven't done any in quite a while so my goal is to make at least one thing each month.

Here's the first one. If there's any interest I will keep you guys updated. So here it is:

What do you guys think? I've got to say I'm pretty pleased with it myself. I've never been very good at doing faces but I think I've nailed this one.

Also for those who don't know, this is Chloe Price from the game series Life is Strange. Specifically LIS: Before the Storm - Chapter 2.

Edit: Here's a progress gif too:

I also made a Deku :)

I like your art! :D Keep practicing! One of my resolutions was to also start drawing more and I've honestly been keeping up with it so far? My skill hasn't improved drastically, but I've definitely improved, which is awesome.

Here's another "art" I made during the hiatus. The proportions look way off because I matched the anime but I'm really pleased with the detail work. I'm currently working on a Hanzo portrait. Will attach a close up preview of how it looks right now and I'll post the final when it's finished.

Oh stop it you! ❤

Here's the latest progress on it. Still a long way to go but I'm definitely getting there!

I did a load more work on the Hanzo pic after a month break. I never want to make another picture with fur ever again haha. Not much left to do on it now, just the body.

It's finished! Yay!

Thanks, I appreciate that. I think I need to replay it pretty soon, both the original and before the storm are great games. If I recall I ended up saving Arcadia on my first play through though that was quite some time ago.

As a side note I remember spending way too long tinkering with a python script (I don't even know python) trying to get my smart lightbulbs to match the colour of the screen whilst playing Before the storm for a more immersive experience.

Damn nice art. It would get you a lot if art selling is still a thing in gaia. Which reminds me I need to get a tab.

Haha, thank you but I don't think doing commissions would be worth it considering how long it takes for me to finish one of these (My last one took 13 hours all together). I don't know how much people normally charge for this sort of thing but I think I'd need to charge an extortionate price for it to be worth it for me and I doubt anyone would be willing to pay that. I more just do it for myself as a way to unwind. Perhaps in the future when/if I get more efficient with it though.

Once you get faster with your hands it's plenty profitable. I had close friends on my legit account who made money faster than I could profit from trading and I was pretty good at that. Once you finish a few artworks you'll pick up some shortcuts.
