Laptop question

i have a laptop with windows 2000, 392,688KB of RAM and a 10g hardrive.. i want to "pimp it out" in a way i guess, so does anyone have any suggestions of what i could do to it?

Take it to Sites and bytes or that other place and ask if they can upgrade it with more ram, and a better processor. And if you want a better, hard drive

Also : When do you have the weekend off?

Get more RAM.
Get more space.
Upgrade to Linux (or partition if you're a hardcore Windows fan.)
Use visual styles if you stay with Windows.
Explore media player options.
Get firefox, or chrome. Whichever duits your choices.

OR

Buy a new laptop.

Linux is the operating system for people who aren't dumb enough to use OSX and people who think they are too cool for windows, so they use a shitty OS like Linux, only thing they say when they are questioned is "OMG ITS SOOO OPEN SOURCE OMGGGG" Even though half the people who where smart enough to boot into Linux don't even know what that means.

I like Linux for all of it's shit.
Not because it's open source.
I like the graphics options.
I like it better than Windows because it doesn't crash as much. But due to compatibility issues, I still use Windows Seven.
I liked OSX, but my computer was too shit to run it.
Besides, it was just an option. People see you with Linux and think you're a hardcore programmer.

im not a hardcore programmer... i barley know how to make an internet browser! xD , i just cant grasp the codeing...

Then go with Windows, anything above your current.

Your windows crashes because Linux is lighter, most computers can run Windows flawlessly, mine can't, but no excuse for me to use Shitux.
If you like the look of it just theme windows xp into it I think even 7 has that option now with some 3rd party software.
And only retards think you're a hardcore programmer, everyone else just thinks 'Man, this guy must really be a dick to use Linux.'

Not people on ther internet of course, who have even a little bit of common sense.
But people are amazed when they see you on something other than Mac and Windows.
