People on Gaya generally tend to post all sorts of fancy shit about their IRL troubles, you never know what might have been in handy for this guy to start using it as blackmail. This is why you keep your mouth shut on the internets about important aspects of your real life.

The advise would be get and antivirus, and if it tells you something is infected, don't ignore it.

So he's obviously a scammer. especially if he's already pissed someone off this fast.
Unfortunately, he got ahold of your information because he's either Seen if personally, of you've given it to him without realizing it.
This is common if you use the same password for everything, or you see a great gaia-deal that requires your username and password that you can't resist. Like a gold generator or something.
It's also common if he sent you a fake login page.

Either way, you're a victim. But if you want the run down, here's what happened.

He contacted you about some sort of deal or gold generator that you couldn't resist.
He's only got one friend on his friends list, so you didn't know him before.
Foolishly you fell for the trap, clicked on a link or followed his instructions, and filled out your Gaia information somewhere else.
Whether you did it on a gold generator trap, a fake gaia page, or you signed up for something else and used the same info, I don't know.
But you did, and he got the information that way. So using that, he logged in.
Changed your password
Changed your e-mail
Deleted your friends
Went through your Inbox and read everything.
Figured out which one was your girlfriend, and sent her the same scam through Your account.
She did it thinking it was you.
So now he's got both of your accounts, both of your friends, and from there he's just going to spread like wildfire until he gets lazy.
Your biggest error? You use the same Password for other sites, including your own e-mail.
If that's not the case, then it was your e-mail password he got first, and from that got your Gaia account information.

But what can you do about it?
Report him, start over, and hope a generous mod gives your account back.

Even if we did, you're going about it entirely the wrong way.
That account is a mule account.
He doesn't keep any of the inventory or gold on that account. He takes your things, sells them, distributes the money to about 5 other mules evenly so the admins won't find it suspicious that all that gold is being moved at once, then leaves that mule account in the ground for the admins to pick up and ban. Then his main is fine, and all he has to do is wait a while before he sends your money to his Main account.
He (so far has not) and probably will not respond to any messages he gets from anybody since he doesn't expect the account to be around for long anyway.

What is he even blackmailing you with?
what does he have that you absolutely can not let become public knowledge? If he's "blackmailing" you to get your account back then you're being a dumbass. He will never give it back and you never should have given him any thing to begin with. The loss of an email, gaia account, ect are nothing. Move on and stop whoring out your girlfriend.
There is nothing we can do for you. Gaia staff could maybe help you, but its unlikely it will happen with any sort of speed.

As far as branches of the military go, not to spark a debate, I don't think one is better than the other.
Different, yes.
Better, no.
You still fight for the country and our rights whether you're getting shot up on land or in the sea.
The training is different
The atmosphere is different
So in the end it comes down to you find the army or marines more favorable.
But there's nothing written or proven as to which one is actually better.
Because we're on the same side.

An error in my response was that I made it seem like I believe all of my teacher's reasoning. I do agree with some of his arguments as to his preference for the marines, however, I am not solely blinded thinking that to be in the army is nothing and the marines is so much more. Either presence fights for the country, which is respectable. Though in this case, I don't really know if it's true considering... someone from the army wouldn't be so easily stirred.

We are all the same. I fight along side Army personelle here every day. I have even cried for them when they die and they hold ceremonies here. The Marine v. Army thing is a sibling rivalry. Always has been and always will be. Yes our training is different. Yes our standards are different. And yes our views are even different in some ways. But all of that is irrelevant when we have the same chance of dying together.

Anyone wanting to know any of the differences, I will shed as much light as possible. But enough thread hijacking.

Get into your email in any way, password recovery works. Delete your email and start another one. Have your girlfriend do the same thing. Also, if your girlfriend is under 18 (it doesn't matter what the age of consent in your state is), report child pornography on the perpatrator. Also, if the video is being recorded by the man, he is recording video and audio without signed, written permission stating that it is consenting.

If worse comes trse, erase and delete all of your accounts, and start over. It is a lot easier than having some ass-bag blackmail you and your girlfriend into camera fucking him.
