Is it true Nexon will practically kill you for botting?

I always heard horror stories from people about how Nexon stalks hackers and botters or something. I heard that one guy changed his ISP, and they contacted the ISP, got his new IP address, and banned that one too. They also had people coming out to his house every month to make sure he wasn't hacking again or something. When he moved, they followed him and got his new IP.

Just stuff like that. Does anyone know if that stuff is true? I had always been afraid of trying to hack games like that, just from hearing those Nexon horror stories haha.

I never heard of it, but I highly doubt its true.

That's insane. There is no way that they could have tracked him down that many times.

Yeah, I know, but I believe they hire private investigators to go after the bot makers and stuff. I don't know, just horror stories I always heard from people. Never knew if they were true or not though.

They dont, they just ban you and move on. Ive been playing maplestory since v.21

I played MapleStory for a day i think , than my dad broke the computer after that and I never played it again. But MapleStory I know has been out for at least 4 years that I know of

Realistically that would probably cost more than anything they'd lose through people botting or selling accounts.

That's 100% false. The only people they peruse in real life for are the peoe hosting private servers which is a copyright issue

Go to the Nexon site, get yourself an account, download Combat Arms, go grab yourself an injector and some hacks (get an encrypter too and encrypt your hacks a few times before injecting), go in game, hack your way to hundreds of the easiest kills ever, and let me know if you get banned for hacking after the 3456789876543456 reports Nexon gets about you.

I'd be willing to bet my next paycheck they don't do shit to you.

Nexon is one of those companies that sets up some anti-cheating software and hopes that it does it's job.

Me and my dad use to play maple story together.
And hack the system together. Well, really it was just him doing all the work and my 13 year old self or whatever leeching off that.

Probably only for severe cases that catch Nexon's attention. I haven't played in forever, but botting on MS was really easy and chances of getting caught and punished seemed non-existent.

I know it's not a good excuse, but the game was kinda asking for it when it gave so much power to cash spending that most didn't want to do. x)

Nexon doesn't give a crap if you bot. I had multiple accounts banned when I played a lot in 2007 and they were only banned for like 15 days. And I was doing some serious mob vac, super tubi, tele, all kinds of stuff. Plus I left it running on my computer training all night a lot.

This guy gets it, I had a bot running for dayyyyyyyyyys like i think it went 7 days without crashing which was amazing.
