Also you should buy a fuckton of repels. When the time comes, I'm thinking repel the entire way through Dark Cave. Not a single encounter.

Helix Fossil it'd be then.
I use to do that when I refused to teach my pokemon flash. I can now safely navigate dark cave with out it.

Helix Fossil gets no love. Gotta root for the underdog. Kabutops isn't oustanding anyway. At least the other (Omastar?) can use water HMs, which are even great in battle.

I remember the days I could navigate all the dark caves without flash. So long ago. I highly doubt I could now.

Actually Kabutops can learn surf and cut in gen 1.
Where Omastar can only use surf.
Granted Omastar could use more love.

Ah I think it's just because of fire red and leaf green I still remember how since I've done it recently. C:

So guys! I defeated Team Rocket at Mt. Moon.
I have to call it quits at that for the time being because of work. Tomorrow I should be able to do this all day and I will need your help to get through Cerulean City and hopefully to Viridian City.

Who should I put into Daycare? When should I take it out of Daycare?
Should I try and hunt for a hard-to-catch Abra?

Agreed, cause it'll bankrupt his ass and he'll have like a lvl70 Geodude that knows tackle and defense curl.

Random pokemone fact:
The evolution of Paris into Parasect is supposed to show how the fungus on it's back slowly grows and takes control of it's host. ie Paris is the pokemon, but Parasect is a conscious mushroom that takes control of Paris's body. Be sad for zombie Paris.

I know they did in Gold/Silver, but I never really used the Daycare before breeding, so IDK. Not like there wasn't a ton of changes between Red and Gold, so I wouldn't be surprised if the original was buggy(?) in not learning moves. I guess we'll find out though.

They do learn moves they just forgot the oldest move they know.
So like at lvl 70 my guess is it would know:
Selfdestruct
Harden
Earthquake
Explosion
