Manga coloring
I got bored with signatures, so I moved to coloring. Something at my grade level.

Tsuna helped a lot with them, especially with the shouting of MORE SHADING! MORE CEL SHADING!

MORE CEL SHADING, I SEE NO CEL IN YOUR SHADING!!! Seriously, try it out. And remember to use stronger hues when you select the color of your shades.

Any darker and it would of been black, I'm probably over smudging or not placing enough in it.

In my personal opinion... stop using the smudge tool, cel shading doesn't require it, but if you really want to use it try looking up more examples. And why would it be black? There are literally tons of different colors you could have added for shading without using black, maybe you're just not grasping the concept of color here.

I want to get use to the techniques of cel shading, and just normal shading. Seeing how both can help in different situations. And Ill go look for some tutorials.

Normal shading usually refers to soft shading, and usually you would want a tablet to successfully attempt it, most mouse users stick to cel shading, of course there are exceptions as in any case, but those that create the most amazing soft shading pieces using a mouse usually take much longer than those with the right tools. Here are SOME of the many colors that you could have used in your shading, and when you shade, you shouldn't go crazy with the smudge tool. You have to consider lighting and where the shadows would fall.

That helps a lot. I was practically going crazy with the smudge tool. Thanks Tsuna. ^_^
