[Guide]How to K-Style

1. Butterfly (BF)

A simple but yet effective move. The steps are, Jump > dash > slash > block.

1. Slashshot (SS)

First shooting move. Steps are, Jump > dash > slash (hold) > switch to weapon > shoot > switch back to sword.

1. Wall Cancel

A quick way to scale walls. Steps: run at wall, Jump on wall from distance> flip off wall> Slash > dash back on wall> Jump off wall once you hit it > repeat from slash flip onwards.

1. Double butterfly (DBF)

Wich is just 2 slashes per jump instead of 1. Steps are, Jump > slash > block > dash > slash > block.

1. Triple butterfly (TBF)

Hardest one of the butterfly moves, not needed to be good, but can be usefull. Steps are, Jump > [Slash > block] x3

1. Reload shot (RS)

Faster than slashshot by a few miliseconds but that can often mean the difference between life and death Steps: Jump>Slash (hold)> switch to a gun > Shoot >reload >Switch back to sword *note: reload and switch should be within the same second.*

1. Insta (Note: Any kstyler reading this who has more please click edit and add on to this)

Fun and annoying. Flip > Block > Jump > Bf > dbf/tbf (Note: You should slash your opponent while he/she is going up. This cancels his/her going up and puts him to the ground before they get a chance to react and safefall. Don't expect a level 50 to fall for insta though, because some people have reactions fast enough to safefall.)

you forgot to add that RS also changes the cool down of guns when you use it consistently which is better than using SS with guns with high cooldowns like shotguns

@ Vash yeah when I spam dual shotties and RS, it goes so much faster.

oh yeah i love it thanks to hacks made a lot of gold on gunz just from quests(thats all quests are good for ), bought those mystery boxes, got some better shotties, and damn never stopped RSing ever. I mean I still bf and dbf but nothing beats popping out of a corner and RSing someone one right in the face, on accident. Lol

I'm still learning DBF. It's so hard for me to master! It's so sad that I can TBF better than I can DBF. Whats you guys name on gunz?

Nice compilation of all the basic moves. I remember when I had trouble with BF ._.

Don't forget about the SS cancel wall climb I personally think it's safer than the regular wall climb, or atleast thats how I've been playing and it seems trk a lot better than normal wall climb, don't really know why.

Just gotta keep practicing might be best to start with normal bf and then going for SS than RS than DBF and if you want TBF and insta-kill. Have fun though and when I started the way I practiced was usually in just a regular newb/noob room and just focus mostly on k-style than kills.

I got to level 19 without knowing how to K-Style, is i could do was sword whore people to death / duel pistol people to death.

I always thought i was good till i Jamie started ripping through the levels.
Good guide, but i honestly don't see Luke getting the game again, and i cba to play it alone.

I never knew what k style was until today, and now I know why people say I k style >.<

are you sure they say k style and not ks?

Dude, as I said before you have to practice. It's very simple once you get the hang of it. If you want you can change your controls around to something that works better for you. K-Style just pretty much needs timing, finger control, and I guess the word for it would be stamina(being able to continue k-styling for long periods of times, at times).
