Gaia's inactive account block

So has anyone tried to reclaim inactive accounts?

I've heard reclaiming isn't too hard but I have yet bother to try. Anyone have any experiences with this?

Never even had an inactive account, so I've never tried. Do you have one you're looking to recover right now?

One? Probably more like 100.

I'm not particularly TRYING to recover them, but it'd be nice to know whether I've permanently lost all my inactive hacks due to not keeping tabs on them. If they could be salvaged I'd happily be throw a few someones way.

I have so many old accounts with nothing on them it's not even funny...

Well I'll have to look into it, haha. Do you have a really inexpensive yet inactive one you don't care about, that I could experiment with? I don't have any accounts that have been disabled for being inactive.

Yeah I'm at work at the moment, Ill drop you a pm with one tonight. Ill find one w/ d horns or something so that there's an incentive to make it work lol. As far as I know you have to submit a reactivation ticket, which might not go so well without knowing the name and birthdate of the account.

Yeah I'm more concerned about a few dozen hundred mils. Nuff said. Not the point though, they aren't banned, just inactive and blocked.

Then file a ticket and get them back. Its a waste of my time to file a ticket and then have them reply, "F no, you hacked that account haha"

Again, if you PM me an account, I can see if I can social engineer Gaia into reactivating it. And if I can, I'll write a guide on how to do it so you can too haha.

Got a messenger instead?

I dont remember which ones were inactive and which ones were banned, so it'd be nice to just list them till one is deactivated versus banned without having to check them all myself. Pm me a skype if possible, its the least annoying messenger for me to use atm.

then they're nearly impossible to get back unless they remove that "block" (which i doubt). Same goes for COPPA (children online privacy protection act).

Usually if you just provide solid proof that you did in fact own the account you are trying to claim, they will most likely give it back to you.
These accounts are your own, or hacked?

They were inactives hacked.

Before this type of inactive block, I have been able to SE accounts from gaia support staff with almost no proof of account ownership. I usually say that I never used my real birthday online because I was paranoid about cyber-security or some bullshit. I'm sure with this new block they are quite a bit stricter, however.

Given the massive leak on there part they're more or less obligated to be. Not entirely sure what that entails though

The inactive block was implemented like a month ago. Are you sure this is the same thing we're talkin about? o_o

I'm talking about a guide to SEing the gaia support staff into giving you an account with next to no proof that it's yours. It's applicable.

I was going to social engineer them to getting a few of your accounts back, but you keep just going "no it's impossible" and not giving me the login details to any of your inactive accounts I said it almost a week ago (The date was 16 Feb. 2013 08:27pm) and yet only now you consider it when someone else brings up Raivu, lol.

Asked you to pm me contact information roughly a week ago because I don't want to log on a proxy and check each one of the accounts to figure out which ones banned myself and getting a ton of accounts logged to one proxies ip. That way we could go down till we found an inactive one.

Not too fond of your tone though, you sound like a whiny little kid.

When I get home I'll add you. I'm out for classes all day today. Tone's understandable given what you thought, but I don't particularly ignore anyone, and I rarely miss a response directed at me. If you are more concerned though, you're always free to PM me. I've a few tasks going on at once to keep up with, and while it would be nice to know i can reactivate some of the 100s account I never touched (especially given gaia's suspicion for inactives now being lower due to the procedure) it isn't among my highest priorities.

was a picture of an account that he tried to log in which gave an error message saying the account was blocked due to inactivity. The actual click link never worked for me but the thumbnail did before.

I've found most of the time it's not even worth the trouble.

More or less what i figured it would be. The only possible info you could prove with is birthdate, and the likelihood you'll nail that is close to none.
