I used to have about 5 mill+ (95% illegit) spread out among mules about a year ago, not including the worth of my items. Swiftly went the banhammer - and rightfully so, I suppose - and I was left with nothing. Gave away a lot of illegit crap too so I wouldn't doubt it if others perished as well. Woops.

Dumpster diving used to sometimes give some pretty decent crap when I started botting. Got the occasional donation item, rare, etc. which I'd then either transfer by gifting anonymously after about a week of securing the item or sell on the MP.
I heard somewhere that gifting anonymously between accounts was undetectable by staff. I'm not sure if that's entirely true but it worked for about a year before I screwed up somewhere and got chain permed.

I used to have over 20 mil worth of stuff, but then I got banned trying to sell Runescape gold for Gaia gold.
