Dumpster diving items

Any one else curious why like 1/4th of the items we get are town items donated by admin?

I get nothing but town items or stickers for my aquarium.Oh and some articles of clothing.

I have only gotten one monthly collectible and it was a letter

I never got a letter or anything worth value really

They are automatically generated so that the Dumpster Dive isn't always as empty. It's always the same, low value items. They appear when no one else has donated anything to be dived.

Which is almost always. The idea of dumpster dive is decent I guess, but you will always have a lot more people taking than giving.

I wrote a custom script to dumpster dive.

The results i've gotten vary.

You will roughly get a grant around every 5mins.

I've gotten some value out of it, Looking at todays run I've already picked up a Easter 2k12 Diedrich Mascot Suit.

It's nice to have a steady influx of trash i guess. Some of the trash has value like Old Crumpled Newspaper selling for 1k a peice.

My script has a arena-voter that runs during the delays for a little added value to running.

And i'm not surprised that they would actually have random items added in like 1-10 items of trash or flowers but with the 5 minute delay it would take a load of accounts to make it any viable possibly going to message that guy that made 100 accounts and see if he is still doing slots. Had to removed skype due to ddosings from random friends.

For items, it seems to pick up a Valentines/Easter event items here and there.

In the end, I'm going to keep running it everyday for a couple hours.

It's not like I loose anything.

There is an automatic Dumpster Diver tied into LGaia, although it only dives when you load a page instead of automatically if you idle on the page, which I'll probably have a future update do.

There are only a grant every 5 minutes, as that's the minimum wait time between dives.

Dumper diver with the 5 or 6 minute auto refresher seems to do fine
I just wish I could actually do it on my mules and see how much junk I could get a day

You gotta reduce reuse recycle, man.

I've gotten decent things.
Value over 20k.
But most of the time I get junk like aquarium background and papers, but papers are good.

I think I'm going to just dump all the items of accounts I get ahold of into Dumper Dive. Make someone's day, eh.

i do that most of the time when someone changes the pw while i am on the account and i cant change the pw or email

As a side note: If you're trying to get items from one account to another, using dumpster dive isn't too bad.
You get the item that was last donated, so...you gotta do it when there are less people on, and do it quickly. Donate the item from one account, switch to the other, and grab it.

i used to dive pretty often, but took a looong break... ever since trash started being worth a bit more tho, i've started up again. i think the best i've ever gotten from it was some store common worth around 3k.

I've actually got two Philo sachets. From DD.

Talking about Dumpster Dive. It doesn't seem like my LG dives every 5 minutes.

I can't do anything with the refresher though, It's just plain black text

Dumpster Diving is alright. I tend to get town items but then again, some of those actually sell well on the MP.

I haven't gotten anything good from dumpster diving either; I get crumpled paper and flowers...

ive gotten a few expensive items off of dumpster dive while using a bot, but I think all the fish, paper and bugs couldve sold for more then it...

i used a bot like a year ago
got like 5M worth of items in 1 month
never got banned...

They always give me junk

A friend of mine got a chyaku from diving.

The highest worth I've ever received was 500k.
Now I'm lucky to get 10k.

I once got an item valued at about 500k. I was shocked, I didn't even know people donated to DD anymore.

i donate a lot to it tbh it just makes me feel really good
i think ive probably put 8 mil of items in there at the least

i think the best thing i've ever gotten was a nitemare bustier or w/e. i never get anything remotely decent from dumpster dive.

on about 10 accounts at the same time i received some kind of feathered hairclip or something and they are worth about 20k each...

ive been running a list of 20-30 accounts lately and i usually get something good out of it,

Only bans I have seen are from the LG slot client, other than that I don't think there is a way for them to detect what you/we are doing

Not enough donaters.

pretty sure we've saturated dumpster dive then.
