Gaia Avatar System - Getting item pictures

Hello everyone,

I'm working a tektek.org clone in js & html5.

I'm looking to build an image base of gaiaonline.

Thumbnails & avatars.

Does anyone have an idea of how to get what an item looks like equipped without the avatar for layering.

I don't want to manually go in and make the transparencies for EVERY item. That would just take forever.

I don't think there is a way. I don't even think tektek does this.

Tektek never did layer my dream avi right so when I went out and actually got all the items it didn't look as good as I had it

I found some of the items, but it's not really a lot.

It would be a lot of work for me to scrape all the tektek images.

It's just a project to practice web-development stuff and It'd be a nice thing to have a round if gaia ever disappears.
