I do not have gaia cash to make alot of gold for me,
so i just go to towns alot and hope the items i get sell for something.

A $10 gaia cash card will get you allot of gold, save up your luch money that your parents give you every day for school eventually ill add up, that was my stradegy forwhen I first played gaia as a kid, $10 is nothing

There are noobs born every day that spend $ on gaia cash like a dumbasses, theres many methods to scam them, some of them dont even bother to report you.

i hit a billion in no time with the inflation. Started getting 5-10 mil profit on CI items.

Ive been part of Gaia for years and I can never manage to earn gold manually, i just buy GC.

I would imagine there's no cap on gold amount.
Not that I would really know though, as I have never made it to a billion.
