It's literally been years since I messed with Gaia. Logged into my account and calculated worth to be 126,707,543,810.
So obviously there's been some inflation, I was moderately wealthy on this account when I was active but is that still the case?
The inflation is ridiculous. I mean really...When I logged back on I think I had 20k. And then I sold a few things and I'm at 45b. Just...just what....
Some of the stuff I have has supposedly given one of my accs a value of 65 billion gold, but I made some shitty decisions with buying and I'm stuck under 1 billion gold. There are some items I want, so it's a pain that it's impossible to try and sell anything for a profit without some jackass jumping in at 1 gold less and starting a chain reaction.
Yeah, I just logged in for the first time in years (also to this site for the first time in years) and I have upwards of 19bil in value... I thought I was just lucky with what items I have. I don't even know what to do for fun in this game anymore.
So to touch on this and how rampant inflation actually is:
I have spent exactly 50 days logging into gaia once a day since I asked about this and do nothing but claim daily chance and sell whatever that gives me for gold. I've multiplied the value of my account 5 times in 50 days. I have no context for that to tell if I'm increasing wealth or just keeping up with inflation.
