Fighting Back
Is this the only community devoted to the botting/glitching and exploiting of Gaia Online? Or are there others like it?

Honestly, some people would say that exploiting the game/trading outside of the ToS is wrong or whatever... but I mean, come on... anyone can look at what they've been doing and say that it's no better. The truth is - Gaia isn't the same old Gaia and nothing's really "fair" anymore anyway - so why not come together on an alternative venue? Why not trade USD for gold and items? Why not leave a fishing bot on? :gavel:

Thoughts?

If someone else is selling Gaia stuff its usually for a fraction of what Gaia would charge for them and Gaia doesn't like that. Mostly because it means they're not the ones profiting off it. Their gold gens is pretty much the same as selling gold outright and they charge absurd prices for items like 2,000$ for most of their project tickets during their black friday sale this year. They even admitted in the ATS thread last monday that the 20,000$ price tag foer the sapphire ticket wasn't a mistake. They've changed because their new CEO is some money grubbing asshat.

This is one of the remaining. Most sites have refocused.

CheatEngine, EBU, and metaplode formerly GamingGutter all used to deal with gaia, but it's rather dead scene now. This is a result of forums being "out of fashion". People like tumblr, twitch, or youtube now, not hanging around forums talking to strangers.

The inflation has made in game gold practically worthless, so the most common method i know of right now was submitting support tickets for gcash.

Filing tickets doesnt work. even if you provide a screenshot of the "email" from trialpay, Gaia now sends it to TP for verification, so if they say they didnt send it your out of luck.

They've really sealed things up quite well, haven't they? And yeah - I guess there really isn't any point in botting/gold farming because everything is in the billions nowadays anyway. So sad.

Is it only a matter of time before Gaia gets left in the dust, then?

You forgot about the site that actually was good at exploiting. ZeroZaku had the real talent and TU will back this statement up

"There's no longer a Gaiaonline community here like there was before and we'd prefer it if you didn't post anything relating to "Gaia scripts." You're welcome to post anything else relating to technology though." - Najimi of ZeroZaku

I wonder why...

I actually got a message back and they said they didn't like the elitist attitude of a gaia hacks/exploiting/botting community.
Seems plausible.

"They" don't like the elitist attitude?

What the fuck. Why do the cops and the illuminati get to have an elitist attitude and we don't?

IT'S NOT FAIR. D:
