Which Is Better?

In your opinion which system from Sony is the best? Give your reasoning.

I think that the original PS3 was the best. It played all generations without having to buy it from the PStore. I could play FFVII and RE4 in blue-ray high-def on an LCD TV without having to buy it from a store online, which costs like another 10-20$ more for a game I already own.

I liked the ps2 the best because it was very up do date during the time it came out

it could go on the Internet, play DVDs and could save pics

I agree with you. It has the biggest library of playable games (besides the PC). Playstations have great exclusives, too.

That is the reason I prefer the PS systems (older systems i guess) over the XBox systems or Nintendo systems, the exclusives and the history. XBox has a good library, and Wii has variety but it doesnt compare when you look at it (once again own opinion).

But I forgot about the newest edition to the PS-Family, the retarded cousin, the PSP-Go. Include that piece of crap in there too.

PSP because of the games like Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and FF VII: Crisis Core.

PS2 sine it has a mass collection of games.

The original playstation was my first major gaming console besides the super nintendo and hand held stuff. I think for the time it really brought a lot out there. Ps2 was awesome for the fact it had so many rpgs, and really improved on the ps1.

I'm going to have to place PS2 as my favorite of the PlayStation consoles simply because of the fact that it was the gateway for EA Sports Street series. The NBA Street Series is my favorite gaming series to date. The Street Series, for me, brought more fun into sports games by allowing players to play with their favorite teams but include unique characters and a unique game mechanic (trick meter, gamebreakers) that gained the Series the popularity to other sports (football, soccer).

Agreed. & I have it. I wouldn't dare buy that crappy shit they pass for a PS3 these days. Have you seen it? Just so they can notch up their sales. It's pretty retarded. I love my fat ps3 & I still play ps2 games in it :]

I love its graphics, and the ability to go on the internet.
However, I do not like that the harddrive crashes quite easily.
Also, there is the problem with "YLOD", or the Yellow Light of Death which usually happens when your PS3 over heats. This costs $150 if you are not covered by the warranty!

Ps3 for sure. Widest library of games, ability to run linux/ubuntu, and the best exclusives.

I love it, my family loves it. Even my dog humped the ps3, now thats saying something about a nuder-ed 8 year old dog.

Ps2 and PsX.Most memorable than all.
PS3 sucks balls for me at the moment.i have yet to find a worthy game that deserved my 400 euros that I wasted buying it.
