PS3 Worth Paying For?

I have a 360 but id like to also get a PS3. Mainly so i dont have to pay for xbox live. And there are some ps3 exclusives id like to get.

Although, im also building a new computer right now, ordering the rest of it tomorrow when my paycheck goes through, so the PS3 will have to wait 2 weeks untill my next pay check.

What are everyones thoughts on the PS3? I have only played one 2 or 3 times

Well xbox on my opinion is better, a bunch of them 6 yearold/hackers play call of duty mw2/black ops online and it's just gay. box isnt that expensive...
So overall xbox 360 slim would be your best bet,

Playstation 3 currently has a pretty big list of exclusives compared to 360's for this year, and there is still 5 unannounced titles coming, there really is no problems with it, Playstation network's community is no different to 360's when it comes to online players, you can play through games of call of duty and never hear shit from anybody simply because most ps3 users don't have microphones,

i own both 360 and ps3 and they both are great to have if your a hardcore gamer, you pretty much get the best of both worlds, so overall i say yes, if you're still undecided just do a quick google search for the up coming PS3 exclusives for 2011, watch the trailers, and if you want more information look for reviews on the console made by non fanboys

And iboras, yea like i said im building a new computer, gaming computer that is. Got my 3 monitors, a saphhire atx radeon hd 5770 crossfirex graphics card, 8 gigs ram, AMD Phenom II 3.1hz processor. So im not sure if i need the ps3..

Fuck No it's not anymore.... I was playing Black ops Zombies today, and i got fucking Yellow Light of Death. Fuck Sony in the ass so much. Now i have return back to my xbox long lost somewhere in my closet. Fuck, today has just been a big bag of shit really.

Yes it's definately worth it, though of course we all know, PC gaming rapes all consoles in the rear and the mouth at once. But PS3 is a very good console and I never have issues with my PS3 slim. Had it since 2009 October 1st, and I haven't had any yellow light. I play it a good 4+ hours at a time when I do play it, and it doesn't overheat in where I put it. So December probably had it over hear, or messed it up some other way.
The games are great, especially the exclusives.
But any info you really get is all personal opinion. But since you got a gaming pc on the way, I doubt you'll even really play a ps3

Well ill still play even though i do PC gaming, mainly because of the different community. Youd be surprised on how differently people will play the same game on different consoles.

Oh yeah! the ps3 is much better. well I really dont want to say anything bad about the 360. because I think its the same thing. but on the 360 you play with annoying little kids because they all have headsets. haha. and you pay!!! D: and in the PSN network, you dont pay.. and most of the time you play with cool people. not little kids.

I have a PS3 and it's pretty good.. However, some sites on the PS3 takes forever to load but other than that i think you should get it. Free internet... Not sure what you really want to hear but I think it's worth it. lol

Xbox is dumb pay to play online versus free online play see the difference? Free online play you don't have to pay a monthly fee for some stupid live crap!

As I said...Every single xbox 360 game, Is either ported to iphone, PC, or PS3.
And you have to pay to play online.

Where as the PS3 syncs with your computers, other game systems, media centers, has an internet browser for downloading all your favorite movies directly to the HDD, and plenty other features.

Oh, And, 3d games.
Nuff said.

Correct me if I am wrong, But didnt the xbox 360 get hacked for playing backups within a week or release? Then the 360 slim also within a week of release?

Perhaps, but it's not as bad as the sony hacks.
