Well I don't like that "feature" very much it screws me over when I'm on from my phone. Is there an ios app for browsing forums that isn't an ugly UI?

Not until we find a good mobile theme. Which I'm not sure if any exist.

It is. As soon as there is any sort of increase(temporary or not) in activity, people come back. Sometimes it's just a few and some times it's a gaggle. It makes things interesting. New people show up at inactive points and old people show up at active points. Kind of weird.
