Musicians like to do new things and not play the same thing a billion times. They might do Black Hole Sun but I'd expect a lot of the new material. Grunge bands are supposed to have a mentality to them. I don't know that Soundgarden still has that but maybe.

Ew, I hate when good bands do that.
But at least it's not as bad as Cornell's song with Timbaland.

You seem to be confused. Good band do just that. They evolve and become better over time. Often leaving behind old music and bring you awesome new ass kicking music.

Out the two bands and tons of DJ's I've listened to, no one has ever made good music after the "good times". No one.

I wouldn't take what he says at face value. I mean, some people are hostile here, some aren't. Some have different brands of humor.

It would be best to take what you see here with a grain of salt and not take things too seriously. You shouldn't let one person here ruin your entire experience. I'm sure he was just kidding anyway (granted, crudely).

I would have to agree that if you have to "this is the internet" as a defense for your behavior, then your behavior is probably what is stupid.

Some things are triggering, not funny. Part of being an adult is being conscientious and empathetic to how others feel. Putting a self-centered notion of humor before social interaction and comfort is childish and rude.

That just seems obvious to me, anyway.

Still taking this whole thing too seriously and literally.
But from now on I'll post with velvet gloves and words for all things Soph related.
