Currently experimenting with neo/probux for profit.

Classes are business comm, online documentation, database structures, and calculus.

I'm in college for computer programming. This would be my second year but I changed colleges and I have to start my program from the beginning.

@kings - I feel ya, I was thinking about it too, but while internships may feed my brain, they won't feed my tummy. Are you good with math, and did calculus take long to catch on to?
@Lavie- That's the nice thing about school is that it's really never to late to learn more, or advance your degree. Was culinary always your main interest?
@Staaap: I haven't even started and I'm looking at school to transfer to. x.o what was your reason for changing?

Graduated with a degree in psychology.

Yes, it was. I have a minor in nutrition and my major was in savory cuisine.

I thought about going back to school, but then I am reminded about how much money that costs. I alsuldn't know what I would go for because advancing my degree for this field is just moot. The cool thing about the culinary world is that they care more about your experience/certifications than your degree, so my associates degree is more than enough. Having a degree just guarantees you for a job anywhere with a nice starting pay.

I thought about doing some business type degree, but so many people have those.

I've always wanted to get an associate's in cooking just to be able to cook well at home. There is always a job in it, though not at those fancy 5-star restaurants. You should post recipes in Healthy Living.

I found the classes too business oriented and I was forced to take a bunch of "filler" courses they thought went with the program.

Yes, even at those fancy 5 star restaurants. The fancy 5-star restaurants aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be. You just have to know your ingredients/be quick. I always thought about just getting a good list of clientele and becoming a personal chef or small events caterer. Too lazy to build clientele though.

I might post a few of them there. I have a little leather notebook where I put all the one's I've perfected. (or at least taste great, not so much perfected).
