Hey guys, haven't been on Gaia in a good two years. Can anyone tell me what happened to the prices?

According to TekTek my account is worth around 12B now, which doesn't make any sense to me since it only used to be worth like ~4m.

Did prices just inflate like fuck?

Dear god, the hell did they do? I knew something was fucked when I looked at the current event and there were rewards for donating 100,000,000,000 and stuff. I was like "The fuck? No one has that much money, why fuck with their users?" until I saw the current prices.

I don't know. Inflation/deflation was always a problem after the first double gold week. The best I can figure is either the fact they keep pumping gold into the economy has finally driven deflation naturally or they saw that inflation was going to be a problem and dumped lots of gold into the user base to devalue stuff, which of course would lead to this exact situation where gold is worthless.

I am like 90% positive that Gaia is deliberately deflating gold prices to increase GCash purchases, since they're the only items left that are worth anything.
