LG Should make a private server :]

i think logicalgamers should make a ms private server.
i also think there should be a restriction from who gets to play and who dosent
i dont know like secret story xD
cause it would be a secret :]

That's actually a pretty good idea. Wouldn't be very popular though, not many LG members like MS.

i had my own server for a few months then i decided to shut it down

It's been suggested in the past and pretty much declined by Artificial.
The only way this would go through is if a member would host it since Arti won't bestow money for the host.

well could'nt we use a client that we log into and it views us on everyone else's screen.

so he can fund future events

and fund servers etc

If this happens, I'd be glad to be a GM. I was a GM on EternalMS before it was shut down, and I loved it!

actually he said we could have it as long as we finished everything and he just had to put it up....then lg got shut down, u got banned and s8ter lost interest or something and it never happened. i would still like to see a private LG server like before

Was this on LG 1 or LG 2? Because I recall him shutting the idea down for LG 2. But if what you are saying is true I have no problem setting it all up.

man i have no idea anymore. i think it was LG 1? but lg got shut down so many times i dont even know which one is 1/2. i just know that a while back i got so many people excited about the private server and everything was going smoothly and bam, lg gets shut down -.-

Well I talked to Arti about it. He said they are going another way with Lg. So the only way to get this going is if someone wants to fork out the money for a host.

how much would it be to host it?

it seems to me its worth 20-30$ a month i think

but i suggest defy to make a charity for this private server

so the host doesnt pay as much and can be helped by donation

thats how alot of servers do it.
i mean they still pay but alot is donation.
if it ends up being that. there should be a donor area

i thought alex was going to use the same server hosting the site for the ps. or is the LG server not strong enough? if money is needed to run a server, we can always start a page through LG and accept donations. we can make a server site with ads, etc making money. and didnt sk8ter or someone say they can host it until we find a good host?

I think this is a great idea.
And yeah, definitely only for certain LG members, we don't want like a flourish of noobs raiding LG.

If you make it LG only, make it open for all.
I'd love to play it, but if only like 10 people were admitted in, it'd be boring.
