Okay first of all, I have a reason for posting here. This is where it is important, and such.

Gaia to U.S.D. ratio is the main discussion.

Everyone selling for less than $2 per mil... You are fucking up this part of this site, let alone other sites.

I understand, everyone wants to make profit, but still. People selling under $2 per mil is fucking killing this site's sales.

People think the lower the price the more demand. No. It is just more you get screwed over for. Everyone wants profit, well, why don't everyone at least KINDA work together on it?

Most general discussion is botting, massively. When did botting become fucking legit? I'm so God damn tired of users calling their gold legit. Cut the shit. 99% of the gold here is illegit. Last "legit" person I saw here was Tat, who wasn't really legit anyways. Get my point?

Botting is fucking up our ratio. I understand you want profit, I want profit too, I am not posting this saying I want more. I'm saying, if we don't cut the shit, we'll be selling at 25 cent per mil by the end of next month. It is bull shit.

We need to at least stop lowering the price. I mean hell, one person has a shop open for $1 gold no matter the amount. I mean sure, you can have deals, 25m for 35$ or some shit, but 25m for 17$? That's where we're going if we don't cut the shit.

If no one agrees with this, go right ahead, fuck the site. See if I give a shit. I'm trying to help you all out. Not like this site can be revived by this anyways.

LG gold has been out for a month or more. Gaiaonline gold is either going to crash or stabilize in the next month of this low ratio shit. Over three fourths of the members come here for Gaia, and with these low ratios, you'd think there would be buyers... Why aren't there?

Unfortunately, the way the economy is linked, when the value of GG in relation to LG goes down, the value of LG to USD goes down, and with it the value of GG to USD goes down. Even though LG is now gone, nobody is willing to increase the rates.

And how is Gaia Cash a stepping stone? Wasn't it around back in 05 or some shit? Gaia Cash is just a way to help support Gaia's shit. Not to mention the advertising money they get...

You're logic is flawed, you're just jealous that people have their gold priced how they want.
It's not hurting the site, only your business, because you want to have the cheapest gold, but when competition comes up with cheaper gold that you're not willing to beat you call shit and cry your diaper off.

The lower the price, the higher the demand, and vice versa. Where the slopes intersect is what the "market price" is.
The key is finding the best price to sell where your demand is great enough to turn a profit. If you sell too low (In the real world) then you are losing money.
However, when selling gaia gold, that is not the case. Gaia gold costs us who are selling ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Because we are either hacking it or botting it, and we have practically a limitless supply.
Therefore, the price can be set as low as possible without worrying about profit because again, the lower the price, the more you move.

I'm not saying that we need to stop lowering. Yes, lower the price higher the demand, economics 101, yet, with the low demand that exists now, when more people get to LG, they will be able to buy at hella low prices, and sell to another site for higher, as I am doing...

Okay I see what boobearsh is saying,and he has a damn good point, as a gold buyer, the cheaper the better, hell I like items too, and I also like money. But I'm not putting a red stamp on anyone's shop either, but all i'm saying is that if you lower the price of gaia gold here, you are lowering it in general, and hell you may as well be inflating the items on gaia its self if you are doing that

I sold my 250m already. No need trry about me for months, at least. Also, to the point of this thread; it's going to drop sooner or later, why not now? It's happening all over the internet.. Whether you like it or not. What am I suppose to do if I can't make a good enough buck over the summer? Can't compete with other higher ranking/reputable members to sell for 4$ a mil or whatever you sell it these dats, so I'm forced to sell at a low rate. I'll get kicked out of my apartment, and be forced to live among the homeless, or use a shelter if I cannot sell my gold. This is my only income until summer ends, really.

It shouldn't be this way.
The demand for gold isn't very high, and selling this low is really hurting the Gaia economy. But what can you do about it? Sell gold for $3 a mill when YYZ will just beat you with .99/mill.

250m accounts don't count to ratios. Large accounts are sold to sell fast...

Okay, but it won't be open until the end of summer, maybe a bit early.
I can't keep track of two shops when I have this job.
In fact, I may only sell to resellers if you think that'd be fair, it'd also be easier to keep up with.
