Minecraft Beta!
Minecraft is going into Beta on the 20th, when that time comes the price will rise.

What do you guys think is gonna be added?

(Also, to those who haven't bought minecraft, I suggest you do before the price goes up. Since I'm sure the cracked version will be patched in the future.)

I would enjoy more tools, more crafts, more minerals, and animals.
Stuff like guns, bullets, maybe gems like rubies, and sapphire.
Maybe some minigames, like duck hunt, where you have to find a bunch of ducks.

I would like more gems, but with more possibilities of items to make, but I wouldn't like guns. I think Bow&Arrows are enough.

Though I hope Lanterns will get added, and the Nether will be put in Multi-player.

We need cars, I'm not very fond of galloping with a swine. Needs more ranged weapons too, possibly a throwing weapon? Maybe a knife?

I don't see why you'd need more weapons, if they'd all do the same thing.

If you make a stronger ranged weapon, then you need to balance it out with a new Stronger mob.

And minecarts + boosters are good for travel.

Problem with carts is that you need tracks. Then again with the rough terrain, it would be hard to make a car that could jump...

If they made the survival gametype more intense (larger mobs that can see much further) then another ranged weapon would be nice because the bow has a range of like 5 blocks.

For a car you'd need a road.

Well, I'll tell you right now, running into a mob of 3 creepers + a few Zombies + random skeleton/Spider is pretty difficult to run away from, especially with the more you run the more that follow you.

Have you ever played on Very Hard for a whole night, while exploring looking for mushrooms?
(Just an example)

Level out the mob with another weapon? And why would you risk your life for a mushroom?

I think the toybox needs to be multi- wait wrong game.

Beta's already out anyway. They added hella lag, then took it away. Not it's just like minecraft alpha except it costs more. :3

Minora thanks for killing the thread.
:D

On Topic:

Well, now I hate beta, because now Minecraft has random ram usage spikes which cause my client to freeze.

Another reason would be, that mine carts don't have boosters anymore, they Have to be coal powered now >.>

There is also a lot of chunk errors and lighting errors and theres a shit-load of invisible monsters in multiplayer. I don't hate it, but I hope they update soon.

Invisible monsters? Are the Admins on your server spawning them? To fix it just die, or relogg.

And the new chunk errors, which I have named "Voids" can be fixed by placing a torch at the edge of it, because a torch reloads the blocks showing them properly.
