i got a full english version of soul silver but the best emulator i can find so far is desmume and it plays the full game, but its so slow that it took literally 50 minutes to get to the part where i pick my starter pokemon. anyone find a emulator that works full speed yet?

It's probably your computer. Do other roms work alright?

Use NO$GBA.
It works quite well for NDS games actually.
If you need, I can make an archive for you with the emulator, firmware, and bios.

rom seems to work perfectly just slow as crap. idk it might be my computer but i've got a pretty decent gaming computer so i don't see how it would be that. it's slow on two of my friends computers also

edit: okay i got the latest version of no$gba v2.6a ( alteast i assume thats latest) and it works full speed but it goes black screen directly after character creation. anyone know how to fix this?

edit 2: figured it out. just put in this code 020DE16C E1A00000 020D3FA8 E1A00000
under utilities---> cheats. paste it in there and select action replay. then double click it.

This is one game I bought legit simply for the pokewalker. At this very moment I'm "grinding" in the Yellow Forest for the pikachu that knows surf and the other one that knows Fly xD

Haha, the Pokewalker in this game is pretty cool. My friend is doing the same thing in Yellow Forest, only he's trying to find one that knows Surf -and- Fly.

Although I'm not actually sure how you got the black screen after character creation. NO$GBA does crash occasionally, though, so you need to make sure that you save and close the emulator every once in a while.
