Anyone willing to send me their pokemonz?
So, a question.

If I mailed you guys money or something like that, or maybe gave you guys Gaia accounts or something, would anyone be willing to sell me used Pokemon cartridges?

eBay and Amazon aren't an option for me, as I don't have a credit card or debit card and they don't take cash-in-the-mail or Gaia Accounts as legal tender haha.

But seriously, I will like put cash in an envelope then put papers on each side of it so you can't see it through the envelope and then mail it to you (I used to buy Gaia Cash using the mail-in option, never have had a problem with money getting stolen in the mail, so you don't have to worry about that) and you could like mail me a cartridge or something :D

All of the game stores near me stopped carrying Game Boy stuff, and like I said I can't do eBay or Amazon.

Also, if want to, you could even order a used cartridge for me off of eBay or Amazon or something and then I could mail you the money for it and stuff, so that you wouldn't have to sacrifice any of your own games.

Thanks a ton LG, you're my last hope!

Awesome, if it is just feel free to PM me and I can send you my address and then send you the LGG and everything.

Any other takers? :D It would be cool to get a lot of the older pokemon games, I love them.

Well right now I have Blue, Ruby, Emerald, and Heart Gold, but heck I'd be happy to shelter a blue for someone if they don't want it anymore.

Going to point out the batteries in Red & Blue are dead for most people. Silver and Gold will be pretty soon. Games will play but saving is impossible.
I don't know about the rest. I would hope the method used to save had been improved by Rudy and Sapphire but it may not have been. Cartridge batteries last about 10-12 years as I understand it. Roms are a better bet with the older games at this point.

Because I would probably be starting my own new game on these cartridges, I can just buy new batteries and replace, because I wouldn't mind the old save being wiped. As for Ruby andEmerald, both of mine have dead batteries because of 3000+ hours of play on both, but all it affects is the clock, which can't run anymore it seems.

You're going to find these random cell batteries, find cartriges, pay for both, crack open gameboy cartridges, replace the batteries, and tap cartridges back together rather than just play a rom?

I don't know if your dedicated or stupid.
Regardless I'm going to help you by telling you to go to Walgreens and buy a Visa gift card so you can use ebay and Amazon.

Companies have started manufacturing new cell batteries that last another 10-12 years, and they're only $2 on Amazon. And anyway, I like the Pokemon games, it would be cool to collect them because Red and Blue cartridges are becoming more and more scarce because people are throwing them out after the battery dies and stuff. Not to mention the cartridges that get lost in the boxes of your stuff after you go to college and stuff like that.

Sometimes stupid things must be done to be awesome. And collecting all the pokemon is one of those things you brag to your friends about

This is true. I wish I had a Red cartridge still. Mine was stolen when I was young. I also never picked up Emerald.
I should look into that.

Oh man, that stinks. I've been wanting to get Red and Yellow really bad, but they're pretty pricey online.

Emerald is great, though it has one pokemon that you can only catch in Ruby so if you want the pokedex completed, pick up Ruby too haha. Great looking cartridge too, I love the green.

I got those pirated Pokemon ones like Pokemon Quartz, Pokemon Leafy Red... There like Pokemon which changed the Pokemons and one it has a fun suprise... you can't finish it cause at the 3rd gym you'll go against a lvl 100 Pokemon so yeah, you could try finishing it but I never did, you'd have to make your Pokemons be 100.

The cartridge is for Gameboy Advance and SP but you could play it with a DS, anyway I live in the Philippines ( Asia ) So shipping would cost me 40$ :P

I'm confused, the cartridge is for GBA, but you said it was black 1 & 2 correct?
Black 1 & 2 are on the DS it's self. Sounds like bootlegs.

@Coffin: I can understand. I could have emulated emerald but I wanted to own a physical copy.
I took a full month to find one with the box and manual, that wasn't a bootleg.

@Flare: I'll check with my BF and see if he wants his copy of Black, if not I might send it your way. For what?
I don't know. XD Also good deal on the silver mang. C:

Bootlegs are awesome though! :D Also, I feel you on that wanting a physical copy thing, all of my friends use emulators and don't understand why I'm in love with physical copies of games.

Also, that would be amazing a bout your boyfriend's black :o I have no idea what I could give you though D:
