Pokemon Go Plus

It seems they've just released that Pokemon Go Bluetooth wristband thing that lets you catch Pokemon without getting your phone out.

Anyone thinking about getting one? I assume a lot of you are playing this with mods so an object like this would be pretty pointless but I for one would be interested in trying it though I feel they are way too late on this. The majority of the hype for the game has died off now so I can't imagine many people buying it.

I don't really see why there was a delay with it to be honest. Surely you'd want to launch the game and it's accessories at the same time so that whatever hype the game has would influence accessory purchases. It is fair to point out that the hype Go received was a lot more than anticipated so that may have been a factor but if they were forecasting for significantly less sales then surely getting the accessories out ASAP would be a top priority.

Seems I went off on a bit of a rant there so yeah, anyone considering getting one?

I don't think it has anything to do with the apple watch.

I might get one. Not sure. I don't play a ton now.

Yeah, same here. I play it casually but nowhere near as much as when it first came out. Niantic really haven't helped themselves in my opinion.

I wouldn't suggest getting it. To be honest it's basically useless since you have to have the pokemon go app running for it to w.ork. IMO it kind of defeats the purpose of having it. It's catch rate is also w.orse than if you tried to catch it yourself. x_x
