Get rid of Cheats and Hacks
I think if we stopped saying we were a cheating and hacking community, we could potentially get more users.
Cheating and hacking could be seen as dangerous or too difficult for most, if we came out and said we were a social community and shit like that, we would have a higher chance to get more users.

Just my opinion. IDK how to word it right now.

It'd have to go by Arti, because it's hugely tied to our SEO. It could actually result in less new users. :P
But generalizing the forum is fine with me. I don't think cheating games is as popular as it once was, and for the few games where it is popular, there are more popular dedicated communities. Really, our only cheating advantage is over a handful of browser-based games. I doubt much will change that.

But can't kill SEO, so yeah.

I agree with ethan to an extent maybe if it wasn't the main point to the site we could bring in a more generalized user base. I also believe the only way this sit will become popular again is if we extend our usage of social media such as web videos, podcasts, even an internet talk show could be helpful. But as of now our numbers are dwindling, and it's sad we need something new.

Altering the focus of the site will result in different users because you've changed the audience. The question is the new audience larger and do we have a way to draw them to the site.
Also will the current user base embrace such a change?
Now something to consider is specialization. As general gaming site we can't compete with larger established sites, like Game said, but if we picked a single game to focus on we could start to build a community around that. The only issue there is we don't have a uniting interest as a community beyond revitalizing LG. There is no one game we a play and thus no everyone will be into what we specialize in and that means more work for those who are interested.

I thought this was the whole point of Logical Gamers? I guess I'm the type of new user you want to avoid lol.

Nah. It is the point. Older users want to add other points too. But cheats and hacks will always be here.
