so for the last few hours runescape is down on all us servers :/ i have been so bored. not sure what caused it though. i know everyone was freaking earlier about a update or something then poof. anyone know whats up?

I'd figure that Jagex would at least tell you what's up. Though Jagex has been getting progressively worse over the years.
new update. changed hp and damage done to x10. so if you have 99 hp you now have 990 and if you could do 99 dmg you now do 990
And its official. They just killed Rs O_o

Its completely pointless what they just did. Im now hitting 160s and it takes around 5 hits to kill a giant spider and the exp is still the same :/

I dont know why they honestly thought that they needed to do this. Runescape was perfectly fine without the 10x health and damage. But i guess thats just me.

Well as an MMORPG, they might've wanted to be like other MMORPG's and do high dmg/have lots of hp.
Most RPG's, you go into the thousands and maybe even ten thousands when at max hp, so RS probably felt left out with their double digit health points.
I infinitely prefer this update, and so my does my g/f. It's only sensical for damage to do between 10 and 990 instead of 1 and 99. This allows for more accuracy in terms of damage done.
They'll fix their servers soon.
