Musical Memories

When you hear a song, do you ever think of a memory that was once associated with it?

For example : When I hear "Let the flames begin" -paramore, I remember driving to ocean city with my grandpa and brother.

And when i hear "A favor house Atlantic" - coheed and cambria, I remember my friend and i running from 3 kids that wanted to kick our asses while constanly laughing in the dark.

When you guys hear a song, do you remember something that happened to you?

Freebird reminds me of my youth because my dad is a huge Skynryd fan and my father swears it was the first song I ever heard.
The Cradle Will Rock by Van Halen song reminds me of high school and a girl I knew then.
Several of my own songs remind me of things because they were written about things.
Hotel California reminds me of the first time I spent the night with a lover cause she had an acoustic guitar in the corner and when we got up the next day I played it for her after I made her breakfast in bed.

Let the bodies hit the floor, this song reminds me when I massacred everyone in my school.
Lol jk, but yes songs do bring back memories <3.

Atreyu in general reminds me of middle school, cause that's what I loved then. Idk, different artists and genres just remind me of different times in my life when I was really into this or that.

When i hear the song Paper wings it reminds me of siting on swings in japan with a portable amp. and Jeremy (sonic_benny) and i are screaming the lyrics of the song.

Sunlightz By Modestep reminds me of every moring when I wake up to sun in my eyes.
