what are the most expesive cards put there now adays?

I remember going to this yugioh card store as a kid and there where some cards that where worth like 60 or 70 fucking dollars, now adays you can find them at amazon for 1 or 2 dollars e_e how does this inflation even happen yo?

Less people play the game, new/stronger/equally-as-strong cards come out.

It happens because the limited number that come out and if they are effective but later on Konami produces more of that card and it loses its value

One off from tournaments probably. I bought a Black Luster Soldier not long ago for like $0.50. So I'm guessing nothing is sacred at this point. Plus they re-release anything that was rare in new packs as a common and shoot the value.
I've like $60 worth of start decks I got as part of a shipping error but that's a retail figure. I basically just give them away now.

The VCard is definitely the hardest to lose if you play Yu Gi Oh. Most sacred card on the planet.

The most expensive card in existence is Cyberstein, the tournament one, not the booster one. Booster goes for around $2USD, the tourney one, since there was only 3 in existence, is worth +$10k USD
